Reading to your child is a great way to connect and an excellent opportunity to have a fun and meaningful conversation. Here are some possible questions related to this story:

  • Is the Tooth Fairy a familiar character to your family?
  • Do you believe in the Tooth Fairy?
  • Why or why not?
  • If you do, what kind of little gift do you think the Tooth Fairy will bring for your tooth?
  • Can you draw a picture of your Tooth Fairy?
  • Can you describe the place where the Tooth Fairy lives?
  • Are there other unique creatures that live in the Tooth Fairy’s world?
  • Does anyone assist the Tooth Fairy with her deliveries or live in her kingdom? If so, draw and describe them. 
  • How would you feel if someone played a trick on you like Gordy?
  • Would you find it easy or hard to forgive them? 
  • What was it like to lose your first tooth? Describe your experience.
